General HPDE Guidelines – Teachers
The teacher must be aligned with the HPDE mission, goals & philosophy.
The core of HPDE is an education programme and focus should be accordingly.
Good preparation and careful choice of music is key.

An inclusive engaging approach is essential by zeroing in on all dancers in the studio.
Our aim is to put emphasis on our primary vision of body energy, space & time, with an element of fun which always ends the class on a high, allowing for any questions as well as encourages individuals who performed and an individual or group.
Thanking you in advance
“What sculpture is to a block of marble; education is to a human soul” ~ Joseph Addison

Clear precise communication with the dancer is vital.
With regards to the actual class, it is important to educate the dancer with the structure of the class, your style and what the end goal of the class is.
A brief history of the genre is helpful to achieve maximum success.
The actual class must be designed for the age group with excellence and must extend the dancer to his/her maximum level.
Teachers are required to give constructive criticism thus improving the moral and ability of the dancer.
